BPG, through its predecessor company Simon Baron acquired its first project in California in 2016, a 600-room historic hotel in the burgeoning Downtown Los Angeles market. BPG partnered with Skid Row Housing Trust and is currently working on a conversion of the property to 100% affordable housing. When complete, the property will be the single largest affordable housing building in Los Angeles.
